2011 Summer Junior League
The Summer Junior
league will be held every Saturday beginning June 25th and
will conclude with a season ending tournament on August 13th.
Juniors playing in this golf league should have their own clubs, a
basic understanding of the rules of golf and be able to consistently
strike the ball to keep play moving.
Registration
The registration fee
is $120 for the 8 week league ($40 for Junior Members of CCC). The
fee includes green fees, handicap, season ending tournament, awards,
and prizes. Payment in full required at time of registration.
Format of Play
All league play will
be net individual stroke play using the Stableford scoring system as
follows:
Double Bogey or
worse
0 points
Bogey 1 point
Par 2 points
Birdie 3
points
Eagle 4 points
Double Eagle 5 points
The player with the
highest point total in each division at the end of the season will be
the “Player of the Year”.
Handicaps/Scoring
Each player will
receive a league handicap. Players may not score higher than a 10 on
any hole. All scorecards must be signed and attested prior to being
turned in. All scores and stats will be posted weekly in the pro-shop
on the Junior League board.
Starting Times
Starting times will
be determined by the number of players registered for league play but
will be in the 1pm – 2pm range. It is recommended that all players
check in 15 minutes prior to their start time to ensure play takes
place on time. Players that are late will go on standby and are not
guaranteed a starting time. It is the players’ responsibility to
notify the pro-shop if they are unable to make their tee time for any
reason. Players will have the same tee times each week.
Rules/Etiquette/Dress Code
Preferred lies in
your own fairway. All balls must be holed, no gimmies. USGA rules
govern all play except where local rules prevail. All players should
have a basic understanding of the rules of golf. Please care for the
course by replacing all divots, repairing ball marks and raking
bunkers. All players will be supplied with a ball mark repair tool.
Above all please be considerate of other golfers by keeping up with
the pace of play. Players should be ready to play when it is their
turn.We require all players to abide by the dress code. No denim and
no mesh athletic wear, all shirts must have sleeves and preferably
collars. There will be volunteers monitoring play for your
assistance, please seek them out if you have any questions. They are
there to help you.

Your tee time is the time you begin play! Please give
yourself time to arrive early if you would like to practice. The
practice green and driving range will be available to you. Range
balls are available in the pro-shop for $5 per small bucket and $7per
large bucket. You should be at the 1st tee at least 5
minutes before your tee time.

It should take approximately 2 hours to play 9 holes.
